While stone fruit are in season, I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate them into my baked goods as much as possible. Today I am sharing with you a very easy pastry recipe I like to make when I am short on time, but want delicious dessert. Made with pre-made puff pastry, these light and flaky mini plum tarts will be ready in no time, so let’s get started.
prep: 10 min Thaw: 40 min Bake: 20 min Total: 1 hr 10 min
Ingredients
1 (1.1 lbs) puff pastry sheet, thawed
4 medium plums, pitted and thinly sliced
1 tbsp unrefined sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 F
On a lightly floured surface, unfold the pastry sheet. Roll it out and cut into 6 rectangular shapes. Place them into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Slightly lift the edges of the pastry sheets. Arrange the plum slices (if plum slices are wet, pat dry them with paper towels) on top of the each puff pastry sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake for 20-22 minutes until the tarts are golden brown around the edges.
Serve with vanilla ice-cream or custard.
Enjoy!
This looks so delicious! 😃
